If something went wrong — you were charged unexpectedly, CalBuddy never worked for you, or the product isn't what you expected — write to us. Refund requests are reviewed by our support team case by case, and if a charge shouldn't have happened, we make it right.
Where you paid decides who refunds you. If you subscribed inside the Android app, the charge is Google's, and Google handles the refund — see Google Play purchases below. If you subscribed on the web, the charge is ours and we handle it.
How to request a refund (web purchases)
Contact our support team — use "Submit a request" on this help center or email support@calbuddy.app — and include:
- the email or phone number you purchased with, and
- your receipt or the charge date.
We'll process approved refunds back to your original payment method. Refunds can take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
Google Play purchases
If you subscribed inside the CalBuddy Android app, Google took the payment:
- Within 48 hours of purchase you can usually request it yourself: Google Play → Account → Order history → find your CalBuddy order → Request a refund.
- Older than 48 hours, or Google declined it? Contact us at support@calbuddy.app with your Google Play order number and we'll take it up.
A refund does not cancel the subscription — cancel it in Google Play as well, see *How do I cancel my subscription?*
If you never managed to use CalBuddy on WhatsApp
A small number of WhatsApp accounts can't receive messages from businesses (a WhatsApp setting most people never hit). If that prevented you from ever using CalBuddy, you get a full refund — contact support and we'll process it, no questions asked. First, though, it's worth trying the quick fix in I'm not receiving messages from CalBuddy (it solves it for almost everyone), or simply using CalBuddy on Telegram instead with the same subscription.
Already cancelled?
Cancelling stops future charges but doesn't issue a refund for a charge already taken — request a refund as above. To stop renewals, see How do I cancel my subscription? — and remember to cancel in the same place you paid (your billing page for web, Google Play for in-app).
